Ostensibly a "networking" event, your career won't be what's on your mind at the Matzo Ball party at the
Roxy tonight. Twenty-five bucks gets you in the door to this giant singles party, while $150 gets you the
VIP ticket, which includes a night at the Marriott on Tremont. Which will be vital if your "networking" goes
particularly well.
OMEGA 3
Fish Feasting at Davio's
Davio's is embracing the Italian Christmas Eve "Feast of the Seven Fishes" tradition by rolling out a
one-night prix fixe for the maritime-minded. You can revel in the holiday hoopla with four courses like
Sicilian Tuna Tartare and Lobster Ravioli, the latter served in a decadent cream sauce and
rumored to be Santa's favorite type of ravioli.
Tonight is as good a night for a little clubbing as any, regardless of what holiday it is, and Underbar is
bringing it strong to the hole with an international music party. Two DJs flown over from Europe will be
spinning tunes all night, focusing on Russian, Greek and Latin American beats. Because nothing says
Christmas like Russian house music.
The good people at District are in the spirit of giving tonight, so they've dropped the normal cover charge
for the evening and will be donating any toys brought to their door to needy kids. Given the way you party,
you need all the karma you can get.
If you're looking to get back on the party horse Saturday, head to the Hard Rock for a sorority-hosted bash.
There'll be gratis apps like bacon-wrapped scallops from 9 to 11 and half-off specialty drinks. There'll
also be a live DJ and giveaways from a radio station. Just in case you didn't get that Bob Seger CD you were
hoping for on Friday.
