Go Here for Thanksgiving Everything

Speaking of turducken... should you be attempting your own this year, you’ll need a few things. Namely:
1) Handsome kitchen tools.
2) A library of vintage cookbooks.
3) Thanksgiving-friendly cooking classes.
Well, this new shop called Farm & Fable has that stuff. Now all you need is a turducken farm.

Friday
Lunch Called. Nebo Answered.
CIABATTA BING

Lunch Called. Nebo Answered.

Nebo forgot to have lunch when it moved into its new spot back in June. Thankfully, it realized the error of its ways. Among the new lunch offerings: a roster of ciabatta sandwiches inspired by snack shops along the Italian Autostrade. Like a Peroni-battered whitefish one. All sandwich roads should lead to Peroni-battered.

A Courthouse Full of Beer and Whiskey
CRAFT PUNK

A Courthouse Full of Beer and Whiskey

Courthouses: mostly filled with lawyers and naked statues. But come Friday, the Moakley Courthouse will be filled with gratuitous samples of local beer, mead and WhistlePig 100-proof rye for the Local Craft Brewfest. Not a bad day in court.

Nov 22, 6-9:30pm, Moakley Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Way, tickets here

Saturday
Sound the New-Brunch Alarm
BEAT TOOTH

Sound the New-Brunch Alarm

Back in September, Beat Hotel rolled into town. You knew it was only a matter of time until apple-compote french toast and mimosas showed up, too. So they did. They went ahead and did. And they’re throwing live jazz into the mix, too. Otherwise it would just be “Hotel.”

Sat-Sun, 10:30am-2:30pm, Beat Hotel, 13 Brattle St, Cambridge, 617-499-0001

Sunday
There’s a Cheeseburger in Your Bloody
TRUE BLOOD

There’s a Cheeseburger in Your Bloody

Cheeseburgers and Bloody Marys. Both have always been in good supply at the Met Bar. Bloody Marys with skewered cheeseburgers popping out of them... less so. Which is probably why they have a Bloody bar with 13,000 possible combinations now. Pretty sure a few thousand of those involve cheeseburgers.

Sat-Sun, 9:30am-3:30pm, Met Back Bay, 279 Dartmouth St, 617-267-0451
