FUNNY HA-HA

Nick’s Comedy Stop. Now at Moksa.

Stand-up comedy. It requires a room, a mic and a person telling jokes. Sounds simple enough. So Moksa has decided to turn its enormous back room Naga into the new Cambridge outpost for Nick’s Comedy Stop every Friday and Saturday night. Edamame makes everything funnier.

Fri-Sat, 7-10pm, Naga at Moksa, 450 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, 617-661-4900

Midnight Serrano Ham in Somerville
LATE NIGHT

Midnight Serrano Ham in Somerville

When you’re hungry at midnight, sometimes you eat a slice of pizza. Other times, a Pop-Tart. But now, thanks to tapas mecca Casa B, you can land hearty snacks like serrano ham and manchego cheese tapas till 1am. No, there isn’t a tapas equivalent to Pop-Tarts.

Saturday
World’s. Largest. Pancake. Breakfast.
HOT CAKES

World’s. Largest. Pancake. Breakfast.

If you find yourself near Springfield on Saturday, there’s something you should experience. The world’s largest pancake breakfast will be thrown right on Main Street, where $3 gets you a stack of cakes and some Italian bacon. Here’s hoping they remember the Mrs. Butterworth’s.

May 12, 8-11am, $3, Main St from State to Bridge, Springfield, 413-733-3800, more info here

A Book Signing. With BBQ Sauce.

BBQ sauce. Southerners covet it. People named Bubba swear by it. And on Saturday, you can have your homemade version of it sampled and critiqued by BBQ god Andy Husbands of Tremont 647. He’ll also be signing copies of his new grilling cookbook. Say hi to Bubba.
