Speaking of the B’s, you can now land a trio of blackened blue cheese sliders and a flight of four New England beers (think: Cisco, Allagash, Pretty Things) for $14 during any Bruins game—home or away. And look at that, there’s a game on tonight...
It’s starting to get cold, which means it’s time for a seasonal boot upgrade. So you’ll want to hit Brooks Brothers today, where the entire Red Wing Heritage boot collection will be on sale, from the same outfit that’s been pumping out foot armor since 1905. Great leather that year.
Oh, and you should know that there’s another costume bash taking over Zocalo and the Brahmin in the Back Bay. You’ll bounce between venues while noshing on passed apps and dancing to the DJs spinning ’80s tunes. Best costume wins dinner for two at both spots. Again: Zoltar. Winner.
Then, come Saturday, you may just be into kicking back with a Halloween-y horror flick. Or say, 12 straight hours of them at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. It starts with a double feature, including The Return of the Living Dead, followed by five other gore-fest films. And ample flask use.
