The perfect smoked BBQ rib. You’re known for sniffing it out. And for $20 on Sunday, you’ll get to. Feast on 10 samples of pit-smoked ribs from the likes of Redbones, Trina’s Starlite Lounge and Think Tank, then vote on a winner. Go ahead, deliberate hard.
Or you could head to Rhode Island and the beachfront of the Andrea Hotel on Sunday. There you’ll find a massive bonfire, Monty Python-esque skits (hint: they’re about Guy Fawkes Day) and live music from a Moody Blues front man and Wings founder. Yes, he’ll be playing “Band on the Run.”
If there’s one thing you love on a Monday, it’s watching 16 women in a bartending-off where they are tested for speed and accuracy in drink slinging, while you sample their wares and nibble on bites from spots like Citizen, Coppa and Myers + Chang. Oh, and it’s called Speed Rack.
