EGYPTIAN LOVER Your Last Chance to See Mummies in Boston Time is running short, so we'll get to the point: it's your last weekend to learn the Secrets of Tomb 10A (don't ask about 10B). The Museum of Fine Arts is soon closing the nearly yearlong exhibit on what are regarded as some of the finer gets in ancient pyramid artifacts. To the best of our knowledge, mummies will be there, but Brendan Fraser will not. |

Good: a Friday night outdoor BBQ along the water. Better: one hosted by 34 shorts-wearing chefs from some of the best restaurants in the area (Gargoyles, KO Prime, Market, Woodward). Best: a single ticket includes all the food, beer and wine you can manage over two-and-a-half hours.
It's been a year since the gloved one left us. But that doesn't mean he or his eccentric ranch is forgotten. Tomorrow at Red Sky, you can pay tribute to the King of Pop by dancing to MJ songs and DJ mash-ups, and downing a gratis pint of Wachusett Brew during the first hour. Plus, there'll be rolling contests for best moonwalk, MJ look-alikes and Thriller-esque romping.
If you admire the occasional tattoo—and the occasional free beer—you may want to head over to Cambridge tomorrow for the Tattoo Circus art show at Hourglass Tattoo. There'll be a DJ, gratis PBR for the first hour and a studio filled with the personal artwork of ink masters hailing from San Francisco, NYC and even Holland. We hear the Dutch artist does a mean tulip.
USA vs. Ghana is going to be epic. It's really the kind of thing you should experience with a bar full of beer lovers in Fenway, then flaunt your patriotism post-game at an additional five bars on Lansdowne Street (La Verdad, Tequila Rain, etc.). Too late to stop now, USA...
