“I hope this hotel suite doesn’t come with its own Japanese soaking tub.”
... said no one ever.
Fulfilling your soaking tub quota: the Gale Suites at Kaskades, a handful of secluded luxury suites tucked away behind the Gale South Beach, taking reservations now and opening December 1. (See the slideshow here.)
You know the Gale. That sleek and sexy boutique hotel on Collins with the killer cocktails (thanks, Regent). Well, they’ve built 25 new suites in a separate building with that same vibe... but taken up a notch. Inside: one- and two-bedroom habitats outfitted with outdoor Japanese soaking tubs, marble-clad wet rooms with aromatherapy showers and chamomile-infused king-size beds. (It’s how Miami observes teatime.)
Out-of-towners. A Basel base camp. In-town trysts. All solid reasons for booking one of these rooms and partaking in the rooftop terrace with a private pool.
You should also know that when you check in, you’ll have all the same amenities as the Gale’s regular hotel guests. Like nightly turndown service, access to the fitness center and two beachfront chairs at the Shelborne Beach Club.
Oh, yeah. There’s a beach.
