Hotels: great for sleeping in when you can’t sleep at home.
Hotels: also great for housing Southern restaurants with giant patios for you to eat chicken and waffles and drink cucumber-cilantro margaritas on when you can’t... do that at home.
And so we come to Savor Bar & Kitchen, a sprawling new power lunchery that’s open as of today in the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North. (See the slideshow here.)
Oh, look, here’s a fictitious feedback card you provided after your first visit that hasn’t happened yet:
COMMENT CARD
Time you visited: 12:30pm.
Occasion: A semiformal business meeting that needed to be within close proximity of the King and Queen buildings. We were looking for floor-to-ceiling windows and a pond-side patio. Can’t believe you guys had those. Nice going.
Meal you ordered: Shrimp and grits for the table. I had the Pecan Peach Planked Scottish Salmon with lobster butter. Took me forever to order that because the name’s so long. Sometimes I bitch about random things.
Drinks, if applicable: After strongly considering three martinis, I went with the Late Check Out instead. It had dark rum, mango schnapps, mint and jalapeño juice in it.
Would you return? Overall, it was a great fake experience and I would totally fake come back.
