Fact: the average person thinks about tacos every 7.2 seconds.
...
Tacos, anyone?
They’re all at The Taqueria on Broad, a new quick-serve establishment wherein tacos find their way to you in a delicious and timely manner, now open in Downtown. (Here’s the slideshow and the menu.)
This very self-explanatorily named place is just sitting there on Broad, waiting patiently with queso and guac and other various handheld Mexican foods.
There’s counter service where everything starts. And a handful of tables and a long bar where everything ends. And all that happens against the backdrop of two walls of floor-to-ceiling wooden pallets painted red, green and white in honor of the Mexican flag.
But we know. You’re busy. So instead, maybe you’ll call 10 minutes ahead and request something like a to-go order of brisket tacos or chorizo-potato empanadas. Or some flan in the event you really want others in the office to know you’re eating flan.
And while they don’t serve beer yet, they’re considering it for the future. In the meantime, just enjoy an ice-cold Jarritos (those Mexican soft drinks) or something.
Weeping softly into a bowl of queso would be frowned upon.
