Brunch shouldn’t be relegated to just weekends. It’s blasphemy, really. Because occasionally... it’s a weekday. And you have a lunch meeting lined up. And you’d like some vodka mixed with tomato juice. Below: five places to weekday power brunch over something bacon-and-egg-like. Like bacon and eggs.
When you feel like throwing around executive decisions, you... don’t think Rosebud. But they’ve got weekday brunch now, so why the hell not. Pancakes doused in strawberry-thyme butter. Chicken-egg-and-bacon sandwiches. Rum-and-Kahlúa-spiked iced coffees. They’re all at your disposal. And so the three-Bloody lunch was born.
To the naked eye, you’re meeting for a nice Mexican lunch. But if you know what to order, you’re clearly brunching. Hence your order of huevos rancheros or steak and eggs. And an off-menu Bloody Mary. They’ll whip something up using housemade hot sauces. Probably a Bloody Mary.
It’s just you, some Francophile and the last in a series of afternoon meetings. You’ll need a Café Americain (to stay sharp), a quiche with comté de gruyère (to stay classy) and a sunny-side-egg-topped ham sandwich (to stay... whatever. That’s just delicious).

First, drive to Serenbe with an associate on a Thursday or Friday. Then drink a mimosa and ask for the weekend brunch menu. If they’re equipped to make you a fried-egg sandwich and some waffles that day, they will. If not, drink another mimosa and chalk it up to a gambling loss.
