Good news: you’ve got a glorious three-day weekend ahead. But not just any glorious three-day weekend—it’s Memorial Day weekend. The official unofficial start of grilling season. So, to commemorate the occasion, we went out and found you five private spots to enjoy a BBQ this summer. Thank us with burgers.

You require: A place with sky-high views of South Beach. Daybeds. Pools. Attractive clientele.
You’ll receive: A sprawling 5,000-square-foot rooftop with cushioned wicker lounges and a black-marble infinity pool. Also: grilled shrimp and New York strip catered from their Italian restaurant, Dolce. Nobody said you had to do the grilling.

FOR THE SUN WORSHIPPERS

On the Shore at Gili’s Beach Club

You require: A beach and a grill. Simple. Easy.
You’ll receive: Well, quite a bit more than that, obviously. A beach and some BBQ, yes, but also your very own bocce court and 12 different kinds of piña coladas. Which... is 11 more than you previously knew existed.

The Back Patio at Blackbird Ordinary

You require: A low-key afternoon of mezcal cocktails, live music, killer views of the Brickell skyline... okay, so it’s not so low-key.
You’ll receive: A concrete patio big enough to fit a stage, some picnic tables, a vertical herb garden and your 30-inch charcoal grill. Whew, there’ll be room for an herb garden after all.

The Balcony at Alba

You require: Help on the grill. Specifically in the form of a celebrity chef.
You’ll receive: An outdoor balcony overlooking the Atlantic. And a feast of grilled goodness (think oysters and bacon burgers) from Hell’s Kitchen alum Ralph Pagano. Hey, it’s the weekend. You’re relaxing.

FOR THE SCENE STEALER

Pretty Much All of O Cinema

You require: Quarter-pound burgers, R-rated entertainment and the company of your 100 closest friends.
You’ll receive: The funky, street-art-filled parking lot of Wynwood’s O Cinema. Grill whatever meat you want. Screen whatever movie you want. Preferably not a homemade one.
