We’re not sure if you know this, but today is basically Christmas...
For people who like indescribable cheeseburgers and truffle fries.
Umami Burger.
Yup, the legendary LA burger joint with the impossible-to-pinpoint taste has come to SoBe. And it’s now open.
Just in case you’re unfamiliar in the ways of Umami, here’s what you need to know. The patties are flavored with that elusive “fifth taste.” It’s sort of soy-sauce-y, sort of Japanese-y, sort of hard-to-put-into-words-y. Either way, don’t get too hung up on the details, because it’s freaking delicious. Like, probably one of the better burgers you’ve had in a while. Maybe go and get one tonight...
Or tomorrow afternoon. Or Sunday. Or all three. Really, whenever you’re craving a double-beef, double-bacon burger, that might be a good time for you to stop by. And when you do, you’ll find black-and-white tiled walls, red banquettes and a shuffleboard table for leaning up against while sipping Native’s Glades Pale ale. Or playing shuffleboard.
Oh, and about those burgers. You’ll have quite a few to choose from. It’s slightly overwhelming. So allow us to recommend the Cubano Burger. It’s available only in Miami and it’s basically a pressed Cuban—pork, ham, prosciutto, cheese, pickles, mojo mustard—in burger form.
Everything is better in burger form.
