Today, Primebar turns one. Naturally, this calls for a celebration... of the circus variety. Expect stilt walkers, fire-breathers and just the right amount of burlesque. Plus, lots of champagne. Keep it away from the fire-breathers.
Matt’s Rancho Martinez has returned. After closing shop in February, the Lakewood locale is back up and running. Down the street from the original. It’s the restaurant circle of life. And in this case, it’s bringing you more enchiladas and queso. You’ll be sure to make them feel welcome.
On the holiday scale, Oktoberfest is... well, it’s one of the better/longer ones. J. Black’s knows this, which is why they’re pouring a handful of local fall pints from the likes of Deep Ellum, Franconia and Rahr. Plus doling out brats and sauerkraut on pretzel buns. Boy, do the Germans know how to holiday.
We were beginning to feel neglected. But no longer. Because the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is finally coming to Dallas. So stop in Friday and welcome them to the neighborhood by ordering a double latte and a bagel. Or bringing them a fruit basket.
The Second Floor: nice place. Good food. Absurd amounts of scotch. But if you have one complaint... their scotch drinking’s a bit too public. To address that totally normal concern, they’ve built you a private room called Privé. So throw a party. Entertain clients. And enjoy some alone time with your single malt.
