It seems like just yesterday that Ten50 first graced us with smoked meat. But Friday, it’s celebrating its first birthday with a big block party. There will be beer specials, live music, burnt ends and other meat products. In lieu of presents, get seconds.
This party is a very different kind of party. Because this party involves a DJ, drinks, belly dancers, discounted hookahs and an actual camel. It’s happening at Souk, which makes sense. Did we mention there’s a camel? Camel.

They’re serving brunch now, and with that comes three morning calzones filled with savory things like eggs, potatoes and sausage, and sweet things like berries and ricotta. The Design District Market is back. Except this time, it’s taking place inside the cozy confines of the Community brewery. So you can expect beer. That much is certain. Also: vendors hawking local wares, food trucks and a dumpster pool. No diving.
