Tonight, the West Village is setting up a massive stage outside of Mi Cocina and Lemon Bar. There’ll be queso, there’ll be Mambo Taxis, there’ll be a cover band singing the hell out of “Livin’ on a Prayer.” If you close your eyes, you’ll swear it’s actually Sambora.
Dinner and a movie: predictable. Cocktails and a film festival: less so. This evening, you and your plus-one will head to the Majestic for a special screening of Liberal Arts, the new Zac Efron joint. Then, chase it with a cocktail at the festival’s opening-night soiree. Or maybe two. It’s an Efron flick, after all.
