A Late-Night Bistro Lands on Market

None 3 Photos Jake’s on Market
Sometimes you want everything.

And by everything, we of course mean clams casino, a turkey dinner, a rib eye, rum and wine on tap at 1am on a Tuesday night.

Sure, no problem...

Mosey on in to Jake’s on Market, a late-night, all-American bistro serving up a little bit of everything (to be taken advantage of at your discretion), now open.

This is the place that should come to mind after hours spent cocktailing along Valencia or Haight—when you’re in need of a hearty home-cooked meal and perhaps one more nightcap.

Look for the familiar shingled exterior, then come inside and warm up with a rum/ginger beer Stormy Weather at the long Carrera marble bar. Then, you could move to one of the booths in the diner-like main room if you’re with friends who are going to order a healthy representation of the 50-plus menu drafted by Top Chef alum Erik Hopfinger.

But if it’s just the two of you, tuck into one of the PaperStone tables across from the bar and share things like the East Coast v. West Coast crab cakes and ground-to-order burgers.

While you’ll probably find yourself lording over meat loaf at 2am, they’re brunching as well, and you can choose from pizza topped with green eggs and ham or french toast stuffed with ricotta.

And lord over brunch at 2pm.
