Today, we want to talk about your Facebook profile pic.
First of all, it’s fine. There’s nothing wrong with showing you and Prince William at a celebrity polo match. With your arms around Plácido Domingo.
But we’re thinking it could use a freshening-up. Possibly by someone who’s made a living shooting stars like Madonna.
So say hello to Pics Boutique, a photo studio helmed by a photographer who’s snapped pictures of half the people in Us Weekly, now open in South Beach.
First, meet your photographer: Toby English, a 36-year-old, London-bred lensman who’s shot the likes of Brad and Angelina, Nic Cage, Reese Witherspoon and Kim Kardashian. And sure, he shot most of these people as a member of the paparazzi. But still, it counts.
You’ll come in and make yourself comfortable in his huge loft space off Lincoln Road, where the occasional model has been known to drop in unannounced needing bikini shots, stat (fingers crossed it happens during your session).
Then, Toby will produce his camera and get to clicking, as you vamp in a chair, on a couch or possibly even Burt Reynolds–style on a cowhide rug.
Piece of advice: don’t go full Reynolds.
