New Desserts at Steak 954

Stephen Starr's meathouse just got a little more fattening (and, okay, tastier) with the addition of pastry chef Sarah Magoon, the former confectioner at Mark's on Las Olas. Now on the menu: Peanut Butter Soufflé, Passion Fruit Cheesecake and an Apple Tarte Tatin with blue cheese and date ice cream.

Available now, Steak 954, 401 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, 954-414-8333

The "Eh" Party at Cafeina

This monthly party from the Supermarket Creative folks includes Canuck-friendly events like a fashion show from Gold Saturn (hope you like hockey sweaters), a trio of DJs playing Canadian artists and gratis cocktails like the Eager Beaver, a mix of rum, Kahlua and Cointreau. (Think of it as an Ottawa Iced Tea.)

Apr 16, 9pm-3am, no cost, Cafeina, 297 NW 23rd St, 305-438-0792, RSVP here for free cocktails

Saturday
An Art Bash at the Sagamore

An Art Bash at the Sagamore

You've been meaning to get some new art for the guest house. This Saturday, in the Sagamore's lobby, there'll be a funky gala where you can peruse original work by local art stars (Daniel Arsham, Jose Bedia) while you throw back gratis vodka cocktails and Grolsch beer. It's like Art Basel never ended...

Apr 17, 6:30-9:30pm, $125, Sagamore, 1671 Collins Ave, 305-576-8570, tickets here

Sunday
Late-Night Happy Hour at Red
TWO MORE

Late-Night Happy Hour at Red

We have to hand it to Red's new late-night happy hour for covering its bases. After 9:30pm, all beers and wines (from a 400-bottle stock) are two-for-one, and there's a special bar menu with Mussels Diavolo, Crisp Chili Calamari and stone crabs for $9 to $20. There's nothing like late-night mussels.
