Tonight's your chance to get to know Proof, the new restaurant inhabiting the old Table 8 space on Ocean. They'll be serving Shanghai Slings (gin, crushed kumquats, lemon juice) and small plates like mussels in kaffir lime broth for $7 apiece. Bonus: complimentary shots during the last seven minutes of the hour, every hour. They had you at kumquats.
