Some spots make going out a walk in the park.
Especially when that park is complete with good food, cocktails and a proven nightlife pedigree. That's just what you'll find at Parc, the new restaurant/lounge from Shereen Arazm (Shag) opening tomorrow night.
Parc's urban playground vibe is inspired by juxtaposing natural elements with the concrete and neon of its Hollywood locale. Separate bar and dining areas are decked out in ebony-topped tables and, together with a 65-year-old, 14 foot arbor tree (complete with custom beehive lighting) and grass cloth wall paper, the whole place feels like a natural oasis gone Hollywood.
Chef J offers up a diverse French/Asian menu that features small plates designed for sharing, as well as a separate oyster, caviar and champagne menu. But with dishes like Drunken Mussels, Black Pepper Caramel Cod and Sweet Corn Risotto (now that's what we call a picnic), the concept of sharing might prove difficult.
Add beautiful waitresses in tight 7 jeans, an eclectic 600 bottle wine list, a top-notch DJ and food and cocktails until 2am, and you might just find yourself strolling through this park on the regular.
