Sure.
You could amass some bottles of rosé.
Pack coolers with bags of ice.
Acquire a few dozen pack mules to help move everything onto the beach.
Or you could just dip into Rosé Beach Bar instead. It's a totally indispensable beachside bar dedicated to greater pleasures like caviar, oysters and cold, effervescent beverages that's now open beneath Santa Monica's Shutters on the Beach. Here's the slideshow.
Yesterday restored hope to our land. Visions of a sunny summer are slowly becoming reality. And now they involve this petite, al fresco crescent of a rosé bar that allows you and some confidantes to toast to the ocean and your lives right beside the sand.
You could literally run off that sand and jump in here for a quick Kir Royale with some ahi tartare before resuming your beach day. Or start a date over oysters and Osetra with two glasses of the custom rosé the hotel is making with Champagne Pommery for its 25th birthday celebration.
You two will get closer watching the sun set and the Ferris wheel trace its electric loop. Then welcome the arrival of a seafood platter, long-stem strawberries and more bubbly, all of them making it easier to ignore all the attractive people on wheels gliding by.
And you'll be back. Then back again. Finding that you really have a need for this place and generally enjoy the hell out of your time here before it fades away at summer's end.
We're guessing that's now... February?
