Owned by a French couple who helms a similar Le Banyan in France, it's the kind of place you might stumble upon in an old Colonial house in Phuket.
Start off with a cocktail at one of the white linen-covered sofas in the outdoor lounge that faces the ocean, then segue to the dining room outfitted in sumptuous satins, golden Buddhas and dark rattan seating. The French influences don't translate to the food, which means your grilled chicken with lemongrass and steamed fish seasoned with lime and chili are pure Bangkok.
