See the world's best hotels and the world's best pizzerias.

Partly because it gives us good conversation at the water cooler — or whatever today's equivalent of the water cooler is (group texts?). But also because it provides travel-worthy recommendations on where to go and what to do when you arrive.

In this case: eat burgers.

The newly released World's Best Burgers evaluated 837 burgers across 63 countries to find the 25 best of the best. And it turns out the best comes from Hundred Burgers in Spain, marking the first time a non U.S.-based spot placed first. 

Hundred Burgers was founded in 2020 in Valencia and now includes locations in Madrid, too. The restaurant is known for making its burgers with dry-aged beef.

New York's Pizza Loves Emily takes the second slot, an impressive feat for a place with "pizza" in the name, though we can confirm they make a damn fine burger. Au Cheval from Chicago ranks third, followed by Holy Burger in São Paulo and Funky Chicken Foodtruck in Stockholm.

All in, the U.S. dominates the field, led by New York, with additional stateside winners found in Los Angeles and Nashville. So, you don't have to go far to eat a great burger. But if your travels take you to Valencia, Stockholm, Berlin, Copenhagen or any of the other burger-making cities on this list, that's at least one meal you don't have to think about.
