This is the Want List, a semi-frequent rundown of stylish new clothing, accessories, and gear our editors are feeling for one reason or another—and, for lack of a better word, want.
Today's edition includes handsome menswear, good-looking watches and not one, but two whiskeys. Plus a little pottery for good measure.
Herewith, seven essential items to covet right now.
What it is: British menswear brand Percival teamed up with tennis icons Prince for a new collection, smartly dubbed Percival x Prince Tennis.
Why we want it: If you subscribe to the adage "look good, play good," then you may want to enlist the handsome polo, pinstripe shorts and cap for your next match. But the double-breasted blazer with matching trousers is probably best left to off-court activities.
What it is: Vustra makes stylish, sustainable essentials, including tees, polos, button-down shirts and shackets. Our new favorite: this luxe knit polo.
Why we want it: The polo is made from 100% Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) Cotton in a jacquard knit for a subtle but stylish look. The regular fit, classic collar and three-button placket make it a smart choice for the office, dinners out, and basically anywhere else shirts are required.
What it is: Wyoming Whiskey Outryder is an American straight whiskey that blends two mashbills: an "almost rye whiskey" and a high-rye bourbon.
Why we want it: OK so it's not technically a bourbon, nor is it a rye. But it is delicious. The 100-proof whiskey is loaded with character and texture, plus flavors of buttery bread, rye spices and brown sugar, followed by notes of sweet maple and baking spices.
What it is: Baker's Bourbon has relaunched its 13-year-old single barrel bourbon, which explores how time and location in the warehouse impact flavors from barrel to barrel.
Why we want it: This limited-edition bottling is an extra-aged version of its flagship seven-year-old expression. It's medium-bodied, with flavors of vanilla, caramel, toasted nuts and fruit. It's 107 proof and needs nothing more than a glass to serve it in. Maybe some ice if you're feeling wild.
What it is: Luminox has just introduced the first automatic watches to its Pacific Diver collection. The 3100 series features a trio of timepieces, with multiple options across faces, bezels and straps.
Why we want it: You don't have to dive to appreciate a well-made wrist adornment, but it's nice to know the functionality is there.
What it is: A new collab between Taylor Stitch and LA-based potter Daniel Dooreck, aka Danny D. The tightly curated Mud Capsule features a couple shirts, a jacket, vases and a tumbler.
Why we want it: This is the first time that Taylor Stitch has delved into the home goods space. One look at the artist’s rock-and-roll-meets-western style pottery, and we'd say they nailed it.
What it is: Crafthouse and Fortessa created this multi-layer infuser, which lets you merge your favorite booze with layers of ingredients, like fruits, herbs and botanicals.
Why we want it: This thing makes infusing cocktails easier than ever. Add a handful of different flavor-enhancers, throw in some liquor, and wait. With all that exposed surface area, it doesn't take long to make flavorful infusions ready to be used in cocktails or doled out to a crowd.
