Todd Snyder has been in this game for a while now.
After stints at Ralph Lauren, The Gap and J.Crew, he founded his eponymous brand in 2011. It's very likely that at least one piece in your closet either has his name on it or was influenced by his designs.
Now 10 years later, he's revisiting some of his favorite pieces and collaborations with the new TSX Collection, which assembles a variety of classic menswear items in one place. Says Snyder:
“I thought about the quintessential pieces of a man’s wardrobe and set out to make the best versions of them—a chino, a sweatshirt, a jean jacket. If I were a rock star, this capsule would be my greatest hits. But I’m just a guy, so let’s just call them my favorite things.”
These are a few of his favorite things.
A Japanese Oxford button-down made on a vintage loom.
This soft-shouldered Italian wool sport coat with a shot of sprezzatura.
A mid-weight French terry pocket sweatshirt with raglan sleeves that was made in collaboration with Champion.
This rugged, premium denim jacket that's made on looms in Louisiana and cut and sewn in Los Angeles.
A snap closure Dylan jacket that takes the body of a jean jacket but reimagines it with 100% Italian calf suede.
A 100% cotton Japanese selvedge chino made from fabric that is imported from Japan’s famed Kuorki mill.
The casual wool Traveler Suit that can be worn together or as separates—the trousers are like a mix between tailored joggers and dress pants.
A mid-weight cashmere cardigan that's perfect for fall.
