Specifically: Ah, Greek things at Skorpios, an airy new haven of Mediterranean delights which is now open in Midtown. Check it out.

Oh, but this isn't just another place for hummus and olive oil. It's the product of the Miami nightlife guy behind places like Set, the chef from Mandolin and the space formerly known as Bocce Bar in Midtown. All of which combines to make one hell of a post-work, pre-dinner-drinks, then post-dinner-drinks kind of date place.

You'll head here for cocktails with someone in need of ambiance and a glass of something good. Say, the Ari and Jackie with brandy and crème de cassis. Aristotle Onassis once owned a Greek Island named Skorpio, so that's where the name comes from.

Black-and-white pics of the couple grace the walls, as does a 13-foot hammerhead shark named Daisy. You'll feel more of the island vibe from the sea of blue, green and white everywhere. Have a seat at one of the colorful chairs inside, or head to one of the outdoor banquette-style tables around the olive tree.

Get to know the menu. The grape leaves. The poached artichoke. The fish croquettes. Look, there's that grilled whole octopus.

Logically, dessert will follow. There's baklava, of course, but please hold your applause until after the cheese pastry with rose water and pistachio arrives.
