Introducing Civilization's First Rosé Vodka

A Millennial-Pink, Flavored Vodka You’re Allowed to Consider Liking

These days you can find vodka that tastes like cookie dough. And vodka that tastes like waffles or wasabi. And, if you look hard enough, vodka that tastes just like vodka.

But an intriguing new spirit from Hangar 1 has managed to crash through the well-guarded gates of our vodka ennui.

Gunning for millennial hearts, minds and unicorn-floatie-rich pool parties, the brand is unleashing a rosé vodka onto the market. Called Hangar 1 Rosé Vodka, the creation makes natural sense for the grape-distilled, Northern California-based vodka brand.

The new spirit combines Hangar 1 vodka with a rosé comprising a blend of Petit Verdot and White Meritage grapes, the former providing color and tannins, the latter sweetness and body. Fortune tells us to expect notes of apple and sweet pea blossom, with a little citrus and peach, and a pronounced finish of crisp acidity.

Meeting the easily quaffable promise of a chilled rosé, the $29.99 vodka comes in at just 30% ABV and is considered the world’s first true rosé vodka.

If we know vodka like we think we do, it certainly won’t be the last.
