Considering they don’t take reservations, if you happen to be in town (or have scheduled a last-minute “business trip”) you might want to plan ahead and get there early—and be prepared to wait.
What comes to those who do will be called the CAB Burger. Expect Au Cheval’s famous hamburger patty, topped with Katz’s iconic pastrami, sharp American cheese, minced red onion, kosher dill pickles and dijonnaise, layered with care between two buns—with the option to add a farm-fresh egg on top.
Don’t expect to return to work after.
