You'd think that, with a name like Noon All Day, this place would be a sun-drenched, indoor/outdoor situation where you could get a sandwich stuffed with pork and beef polpette at any time, day or night.
...
Right. That was fun. But indeed, a casual eatery from the Piccino people by that very name is open now just off the Dogpatch Art Plaza, and this is its slideshow.
It's got an all-day menu is all we're saying. So you and some friends would do well to walk in sometime very soon, taking your places among the herringbone tile floor and Carrera marble pastry case. And seeing as you'll probably be more interested in the contents of that case than its building materials, it won't disappoint.
It holds, among other delicious curiosities, things like the Holy Mole pastry with homemade mole, fontina cheese and an egg. Or, if you're feeling less pastry-oriented, try a "pocket sandwich," which is a pizza dough bread pocket containing crushed tomato, grana Padano and the aforementioned pork and beef polpette.
Having chosen wisely, you'll likely have already claimed a table on their expansive outdoor patio. Think how great that would be with some beer or wine. Like one of the seven they have on tap—including a Pinot Noir that's exclusive to them—for instance.
Don't think about it too hard, though.
