Dubai.

Brickell.
Oh, that? That was, of course, the natural progression of La Petite Maison. It’s a new French-Mediterranean/Italian restaurant that’s now open for lunch and dinner dates at Brickell House. It also looks quite lovely, as evidenced by this slideshow.
There are existing locations in all of those far-flung places above, yes. But here we are now, with our very own bright-and-sunny version. This calls for... well, lunch. Or dinner.
Grab a table for two near the Provençal-style shutters or against the wall of funky, mismatched art. The chef is associated with words like “Michelin” and “sea bream with lemon, herbs and olive oil,” so feel free to see what all the fuss is about.
Or better yet, take matters to one of the outdoor, umbrella-covered tables with a pair of Tomatini cocktails, which mix vodka with fresh tomatoes, white balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. In no world does that move go wrong.
And be advised that there also exists a roast heritage chicken stuffed with foie gras that requires a 24-hour notice to order.
Your date will appreciate the foresight.
