Tequila and Shoes Make Nice Bedfellows

Presumably you wear shoes. Therefore, it may interest you to know that Sabah, a purveyor of attractive Turkish leather slippers, will be hanging out in a cabana this weekend with beer, tequila and a few specimens from their new spring collection. And you’re invited. So, shoes it is.

CONCRETE JUNGLE

Beer Cupcakes > Non-Beer Cupcakes

Beer. Beer cupcakes. Beer-fueled music. All in all, pretty great components for a party. So head to Concrete Beach for the first birthday of their matriarch, Sola, and partake in some nitro-tapped beer, cupcakes infused with their brews and tarot card readings. Blindsided by tarot card readings again...

Saturday
More Beer. This Time, with Hammocks.
TOP OF THE HOPS

More Beer. This Time, with Hammocks.

Seems that the Four Seasons has freshened up its pool lounge, Bahia. Good excuse for a monthly local beer party where you’ll get access to some fine barbecue and their wading pool. You know, the one with hammocks strung between royal palms over the water. The good one.

You’re Having the Empanada Benedict

The Restaurant at the Raleigh is launching a new weekend brunch with the standard bottomless mimosa and Bloody Mary thing. Which is nice and all. But allow us to also direct your attention to the El Cubano Benedict, which mercifully employs pulled-pork empanadas. What a magical time to be alive.
