The Beach Has a New Oyster Situation

Brace yourself. Winter is... not coming. Sorry. But, hey, apparently oysters are. Sweet Liberty is serving them up for 75 cents each along with happy hour specials on Moscow Mules, Old Fashioneds and rosé on tap. Which you feel is quite possibly a better alternative to winter.

Daily, 4-7pm, Sweet Liberty, 237-B 20th St, Miami Beach, 305-763-8217

Charcuterie. Rum. Ocean. Enjoy.
COAST OFFICE

Charcuterie. Rum. Ocean. Enjoy.

You should know that the Ritz has a new restaurant across from the beach called Burlock Coast. It’s where people eat Miami Smokers charcuterie with Zak the Baker bread and comment on the crispiness of their shrimp fry while drinking rum-heavy things. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

Back to the Future: The Party

Things to know about the Bakehouse Art Complex’s 30th-anniversary party:

1) The theme is Back to the Future.
2) There will be ’80s music, a DeLorean and hoverboards. Well... “hoverboards.”
3) There will be an open bar.
4) There will be a costume contest.

Sorry about #4.

A Brunch Where You Can Sing

Let’s play Jeopardy, the brunch version:

Answer: Four hours of endless omelets, churrasco, risotto, waffles and mimosas with interludes from a jazz-leaning pianist accompanying you and a bunch of singing waitstaff from the Cabaret South Beach.
Question: What is the National Hotel’s new Sunday brunch?

Good job.

Sundays, 11am-3pm, $39 (bottomless mimosas $25), National Hotel, 1677 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, 305-423-7211
