A Late-Night Bowling League. Sure.

Some pointers for successfully participating in Basement Miami’s summer bowling league:

1. Pick a team name. Here’s a freebie: I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter.
2. Sign up your team here.
3. Arrive at 9pm.
4. Loosen up with a few stretches/rum drinks.
5. Proclaim victory at 2am. We believe in you.

Thursdays, 9pm-2am, Basement Miami, 2901 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, 786-257-4548

CLOSING TIME

Fare Thee Well, OTC

The cloud: OTC in Brickell is closing its doors on Sunday. The silver lining: on Friday, they’re throwing an all-day farewell celebration starring $5 beer and wine. Also, $5 Thai chicken wings and Frito pies from 4 to 7pm. We hardly knew ye, Frito pie.

And Now, a Surfboard Party

And Now, a Surfboard Party

Hey, this looks fun: the Broken Shaker is hosting a surf-swap-meet party on Saturday. You can bring in a board to sell, trade or give away. And they’ll be playing surfing videos while doing what they do best behind the bar. Probably not surfing.

Sunday
The Most French of Brunches

The Most French of Brunches

Bistro Cassis has brunch now. With bottomless mimosas/Bellinis/Sanguines (that’s a French sangria) for $19. But we’d like to direct your attention to the Chesapeake eggs. That’s a pair of poached eggs sitting atop a croissant and a crab cake, while floating in a pool of hollandaise and caviar. As one does.

Sundays, 10am-4pm, Bistro Cassis, 118 Buena Vista Blvd, 786-577-4410
