Instead of a tortilla, it’s fry bread, and it’s folded around oxtail, pork cheek, rock cod or nopales with mushrooms. Navajo tacos, everybody.
But that’s just one thing you might want to have here after a Bloodhound happy hour. It’s in the former Radius spot, which is now split into two spots—Carafe and this place. Super-casual now, but it doesn’t look too different, not really, until you look at the menu.
Then it’s all asado Argentina and whole fish and suckling pig. Ceviches and grilled octopus and skirt steak with potato chip salad. Lots of shareable Latin and Caribbean stuff. Eventually the bar will be the kind of bar that’s a full bar—until then you’ve got Prohibition red ales and pitchers of sangria to ease you through those loose, halcyon moments connecting evening and night.
