A quality haircut doesn’t require much.
Just a bottle of whiskey and some good music.
Oh, but a barber who knows what he’s doing doesn’t hurt.
Take a little off the top at No Authority Barbershop, a new... barbershop that’ll make your hair shorter and generally better-looking (and one that’s also got a turntable and liquor), now open on Lower Greenville.
This is the feel-good story of Adrian and Josh, a couple of haircutting musicians who decided to make a go of it on their own. So they found a little space and outfitted it with a few chairs, some music memorabilia, whiskey and a deer wearing a hat. All the necessities and nothing more.
So if you want a trim, a fade, a straight-razor shave or anything else that involves them reducing the quantity of hair on your head/face area, make an appointment. Then, when you swing by this diminutive one-room shop, you can sit back in a black leather chair, listen to a record, drink a little whiskey, talk a little music and enjoy yourself.
But eventually you’ll have to leave.
