Fried chicken and waffles.
They taste great on a plate.
So logic dictates that they must taste better on a pizza.
Introducing Fried-Chicken-and-Waffle Pizza, a beautiful Italian pie that’s topped with a full Southern dinner—it’s available starting Wednesday at the new Dough Pizzeria & Bar.
It’s basically Roscoe’s #3 on pizza, with an assist from a childhood-favorite cereal—the chef starts with a base layer of white sauce and Granny Smith apples. Then come the Italian waffle cookies, herbs, waffle bits and the fried chicken, which has been battered in Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Naturally, at this point you’re wondering where the maple syrup is. It’s drizzled all over.
And as for when and why you’d want this—well, you’re sentient, and somebody put fried chicken and waffles on a pizza. So bring a date to the black, old-world bar, order some beer and... eat what you can.
Remember, there’s cereal on it.
So... leftovers make for a balanced breakfast.
