There’s a new entrance.
And hey, look at that. It’s got an actual host stand. There’s no sign at the entrance, so just look for the red light over the door with three vertical porthole windows. That, or the line out on the street.
It’s a lot bigger.
Technically, there are about 20% more seats than in the original. But it just feels less cramped. Probably because they took over the space next door. Okay, definitely.
There’s a raw bar.
It’s actually where the old entrance used to be. Except now, it’s home to a bed of ice and chilled oysters on the half shell. Beats “door” every time.
They’re open on Sundays.
Yep. For the first time ever, they’ll be open daily and slinging anything from sea-urchin pancakes to dim sum from those ever-faithful carts.
Looks like Sundays are back on the board.
