The Miami Art Museum's monthly cocktail event gets considerably more caliente this evening with a Sao Paulo
theme that'll have you sipping caipirinhas, watching samba dancers and dodging capoeira demonstrations. Oh,
and there's art, too.
The wacky folks at Artoconecto are at it again, raising funds for art projects and tempting you with
old-timey thrills, which in this case means free pony rides (for kids and adults), mini-burgers/mini-dogs
and plenty of Grolsch and sangria to help it all make sense.
The city's hottest monthly party lands in the Design District this weekend with promises of world-class DJs
(including MIA's tour DJ Contra and Jessica Who?), dance-induced mayhem and free Red Stripe until they run
out. Hooray, revolution.
A few tickets remain for Sunday's coveted Food-stock on the beach, where you'll have seven hours to knock
back all the wine and apps you can manage from more than fifty wineries and a dozen restaurants. We're sure
Padma will appreciate your stamina…
The Conrad's 25th-floor bar is downtown's condo canyon nightlife gem. Monday they're celebrating a year of
Blade Runner-esque views and strong cocktails with $6 raspberry mojitos and
"Brickelltinis"—sort of like martinis, but with more beach.
