January. February. March.
These are months.
Moreover, these are months that have absolutely nothing to do with bikinis, rum-and-Coke slushies or Tijuana-style fish tacos.
Just kidding...
Because here comes Big Kahuna, Downtown’s answer to your premature desire for afternoon rum cocktails and crab nachos under a giant Silver Surfer statue (we’ll get there), opening a week from today in the Sun Trust Plaza.
Imagine renting out an open-air West Coast beach home. All your friends are there eating crab legs and drinking rum around a bar flanked with hand-painted surfboards. And there’s a Zen garden out on the patio. And everyone’s wearing ties and shiny shoes. Right... that beach home is in Downtown now.
So maybe your day never really got off the ground. It happens. Come here and grab one of the tables wrapped with a vintage photo of a surfer girl. Notice her one-piece suit. Notice it good. Then notice her disappearing under plates of mahi-mahi tacos and a Steamer & Surf Platter with jumbo snow crab legs and homemade hush puppies.
Oh, and look up. There’s that 12-foot Silver Surfer statue suspended from the ceiling. It’s a limited-edition piece that was made for Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Jessica Alba totally probably touched it.
