At this purple- and orange-swathed rock-and-roll bar, you’ll find towering burgers like the Wellington topped with black truffles, foie gras and roasted mushrooms. And this weekend only, beers like PBR and Brooklyn Brown Ale are $1 with each burger. It’s like a boozy version of supersizing.
This Sunday you’ll be giving Dad the best present of all: a day with you. Runners-up on that list: a hand-rolled stogie and endless beer. He’ll get both at the National’s poolside brunch. And you, well, you’ll get brunch, too. And some well-deserved high fives.
