Cooking Like a James Beard Chef

UD - Momofuku Cooking Sauces We’ve known each other for a while now.

So forgive us if we’re coming off a bit... familiar here, but we want to help you out with something.

Namely, your next dinner party.

And actually, we lied, we’re not going to help you out—one of the best chefs in the country is.

Meet chef David Chang, your new kitchenside wingman channeled ever so judiciously through his brand-new lineup of Momofuku Cooking Sauces, available now for the first time ever outside of the Manhattan restaurant empire.

We know. At the end of the day, these are cooking sauces. But at the same time, you didn’t rent out the Governor’s Mansion lawn and ship in the Team 6 of bread-service butlers for nothing. And seeing as it’s your dinner party, we figured you might also want to put some thought into... dinner.

So just before you hit the lawn for your welcome speech and subsequent round of glad-handing the Sunday sales committee, you’ll want to slip your chef some of the good stuff. And once the necessary accoutrements are in place, all that’s left to do is sit back while the soup-friendly Clay Pot (think lemongrass, star anise and cinnamon) and the marinating powerhouse otherwise known as your Asian Braising Sauce (pear and apple juice, habanero...) go to work.

The rest is just details.
