Today is the first day of Valentine's Week.
Which means you're probably on the lookout for a good date spot. You know, a place where you can relax with your sweetheart over a few glasses of wine...and a romantic game of Scattergories.
Introducing Brix 46, a new neighborhood lounge in Mary Brickell Village that's like a rec room for grown-ups.
Named for the cozy caramel-brick wall inside, Brix has something different happening every night of the week. Like Mondays, there's live music (except tonight...because it just opened), Wednesdays there's a dominoes tournament and $15 salsa lessons, and every day during happy hour, they'll bring out the board games (luckily, your Scrabble skills improve with each passing mojito).
The place shares owners and a kitchen with the neighboring Archie's, but the food skews a bit more Mediterranean. You'll like Nico's Mussels (served with a crisp cilantro white wine broth) or the Steak Frites.
Trust us, you'll be hungry after Pictionary.
