This may be your last chance to score something meaningful for Mother's Day. It's also the last designer pop-up of the season at Ironside, so pick her up something nice from Krelwear. Or jewelry from Mora Designs. And/or a plant from Tapara Plants. Just... go there and buy stuff for your mom.
If you don't own something seersucker, make that happen. Then, head to Vizcaya's gardens to dance, play outdoor lawn games and sip libations in them. And since this is the first time the historic garden has hosted its Seersucker Social during the day... well, there's that, is all.
You couldn't take mom to brunch at the Strand last year because it wasn't open yet. Which means she couldn't see the stunning ocean view there. Or enjoy the buffet of pineapple-glazed ham, salmon Wellington and dry-aged sirloin. Or sip bottomless mimosas. Those are all pretty good reasons to take her this year.
