Springtime warmth is finally upon us. And just as the general public will inevitably flock to the sunshine and outdoors, so too will the meats. All of which are ready to bask and glisten and tumble about a warm charcoal grill. But as any seasoned city dweller will tell you, one does not simply roll the ol’ Weber over to Central Park or neighborly rooftop for a barbecue. That would be a time-tested pain in the ass. But what you can do is invest in a portable grill suitable for such occasions.
This brings us to the CUBE: one of five grills released by Everdure in partnership with Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal. The 16 x 13 x 9 inch charcoal grill is absolutely not a cube by any stretch of the imagination, but it does feature cool touch handles, a removable coal tray and a cooking surface capable of housing several steaks at a time. It’s also simple to carry and store away, making it perfect for the impromptu picnic and rooftop throwdown alike.
The CUBE is available now in grey, olive, orange and white over at Williams Sonoma for $200.
