Hear ye, hear ye. The ultimate immersive Lynchian experience is coming to New York for the very first time.
And, well, tickets went on sale just a few hours ago and the General Admissions are already sold out—so let's get right into it and send you on your VIP ticket-acquiring way.
It's called the Festival of Disruption, and like past iterations of the event, held in Los Angeles, it'll feature performances by musicians, artists and actors curated by the director himself. This time around, that'll entail music by Angel Olsen, Animal Collective, and Flying Lotus (all gems, if you aren't familiar), meditation experiences set to Brian Eno's Reflection (a natural fit), and talks and screenings of Blue Velvet with Isabella Rossellini, Gregory Crewdson with There But Not There and Lynch himself holding a discussion over his Rare Short Films.
VIP passes will come with seats at a moderated Q&A with Lynch, so you can ask him your most pressing questions, and balcony access for the shows. Lastly, if you've got a grand to drop on a Donor Ticket (net proceeds benefitting the David Lynch Foundation), you'll also be invited to a private event hosted by the director, and we hear that's going to be an intimate cocktail party. Your favorite kind of private event.
That about does it. Here's where you secure a space for all of the above.
