In what appears to be a concerted effort to affirm the notion that he is, in fact, an idiot, former White House press secretary Sean Spicer posted this Instagram today, with the caption: "FDRs book of Christmas Carols."
Apparently, he's not aware that A Christmas Carol is a famous novella by Charles Dickens—not a collection of Christmas carols by Charles Dickens. Unless, of course, this is all just a backhanded first strike in the war on Christmas. In which case: well-played?
