Miami lacks a Chinatown.

But, as of now, it has its first Asian marketplace. It also has frozen beer, new and old vinyl, breath mints, lottery tickets, highly Instagramable fishtail ice cream cones, live music and karaoke.

And it has it all under one roof at 1-800-LUCKY, a new curiosity in Wynwood that's equal parts food hall, record shop, convenience store and karaoke bar from the Coyo Taco people. She's open now and here's what she looks like.

You and your group will enter through the record and convenience stores, picking up some gum and vintage Grace Jones albums before moving along to the main room.

You'll notice the Tokyo meets Blade Runner meets Brooklyn food hall vibe complete with Asian lanterns and simple wooden tables. You'll also notice the six eateries with things like Lotus + Cleaver's Peking duck buns or Les Banh Amis' Vietnamese meatball sandwiches.

Ah, but there's also the bar's frozen-beer machine, which is one of only two in the entire state. You should definitely get in on that before making this a mobile feast and heading to the outdoor terrace to enjoy everything on the Japanese-style floor seating (or, conversely, at a table).

And we trust you know what to do about this whole karaoke situation.

On a typical Wednesday, Ginger Harris is likely seeking reposado tequila, squeezing her way to the front of a concert or jumping on the back of an Indian motorcycle. That’s just Wednesdays, though.
