Five Ways to Give Back to Las Vegas

Showing Support with SNCTM, Shepard Fairey and the Vegas Victim's Fund

By Ginger Harris

Las Vegas is always there for us when it's time for a celebration. Home to some of the most talented and hospitable people we've had the pleasure of knowing, it's no overstatement to say we love this city. In the wake of last week's tragic nightmare on the Strip, today we'll look at just a few ways we can all give back.

The Clark County Las Vegas Commission Chair started this Go Fund Me page to help the victims of the mass shooting in Las Vegas. Funds donated here provide relief and financial support for victims and their families. Show your support and help those who need it most.

Shepard Fairey designed four Vegas Strong tees to show his support. 100% of proceeds from each order goes to local organizations that support those affected by the massacre.

The Salvation Army Southern Nevada is accepting donations to help those who were part of the tragedy. Giving is as easy as clicking a button here and donating a little there. Really, that easy.

Sometimes the best way to say something is by putting pen to paper. Hearts 4 Vegas wants you to write a heartfelt message to Vegas and send it to them. Get it out, get it all out. Or leave a message of encouragement.

Drop off or mail your messages to #Hearts4Vegas c/o City Hall, 495 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Vegas is still, and will always be, Vegas. With that in mind, LA's notorious erotic society SNCTM is in town this weekend holding its first local masquerade party in a presidential suite with a private plunge pool and lounge overlooking the city. 100% of all proceeds are going to the Las Vegas Victims Fund. They're a benevolent sex club.

On a typical Wednesday, Ginger Harris is likely seeking reposado tequila, squeezing her way to the front of a concert or jumping on the back of an Indian motorcycle. That’s just Wednesdays, though.
