Board Games and Punch Buckets and You Smiling Widely

They call it Cabin Fever, and it's a new weekly happening at The Lately where you'll kick back with friends and play games like Scrabble, Battleship, Cards Against Humanity and Monopoly, whilst drinking Pailoma (get it?) punch out of buckets. So yeah, just like the old days, plus punch buckets.

Starting May 10, 4pm-close, The Lately

357 W 16th St (Between 8th and 9th)

Thursday

THE EPIC BEER GARDEN

Ping-Pong, Pig-Roasting, and Other Things to Ease You Into Summer

Should you find it in you to head out to Ridgewood, you'll be rewarded with a massive beer garden that'll host weekly concert series like the beloved Mister Sunday party, film screenings, ping-pong tournaments, bocce, and Carolina-style pig roasts. (Check their events page for what's happening when.) See what happens when venues have space?

THE RETURN

Output's Roof is Back and Lush-er

Also back for the season: Output's roof, now decked out like a forest with hedge mazes and the greenest greenery. They've still got those same slushies you (presumably) love, and the chef from Pretty Southern will be providing the sustenance to take you on through sunrise.

Opening May 12, The Roof at Output, 74 Wythe Ave (Between N 11th and N 12th), 718-260-9299

THE CLAUSON

A Few Good Reasons to Make for Coney Island

The first being that this outdoor art-food-whatever else space off the Coney Island boardwalk is kicking off its summer festivities, and there are 30 murals on display by some notable street artists. The second being there's a lot of new food happening this year, from Venzuelan street food to grab-and-go chicken and waffles. The third being the whole event's hosted by Sports Illustrated swimsuit wearer Hailey Clauson. Something to be said about saving the best for last.

May 13, 1:30pm-4:30pm, Greenwood Beach at Coney Art Walls, 3050 Stillwell Avenue

Where Brooklyn and Tokyo Collide
THE FESTIVAL

Where Brooklyn and Tokyo Collide

What is Tokyo x Brooklyn, you ask. It's a two-day pop culture festival meant to bridge the gap between Brooklyn and Japanese creatives—which translates to a whole lot of music (electronic, funk, afrobeat, everything else), art and jewelry for the acquiring, and food from vendors like Salt + Charcoal, Brooklyn Ramen and Roberta's. Wherever you go, there you, and Roberta's, are.
