Drinking wine: it’s pretty fun. Thinking about what wine to drink: not quite so much. Fortunately, Perks is doing the thinking for the both of you, hooking you up with six bottles of a little Spanish gem called the 2014 “Tres Picos” Garnacha. Wine Spectator placed it in their Top 100 Wines of 2016. But it hasn’t let success go to its head.
Grand-opening parties are good. Grand-opening parties with gratis wine and champagne are better. Grand-opening parties with passed apps made with the chef’s Venetian grandmother’s recipes are king. Toss in a DJ and... right, you get it. You should go to Bacaro’s grand-opening party.
The new courtyard bar at the Setai has a retractable roof. You should go out there on a sunny day and eat some truffle dumplings. Perhaps drink a martini. Wear some bright pants and feel all great about your decisions. Consider the bright pants optional in this scenario.
